2005 WEATHER

We first began featuring weather reports sent in by BTO/CJ Garden BirdWatchers during 2004. Initially, these have come from Colin Harwood and his garden in Nottingham. Over the coming months we hope to recuit other Garden BirdWatchers with an interest in weather, so that we can build up a picture of regional differences in weather patterns as seen by those participating in the project.

When we come to do analyses of how birds use gardens in relation to weather, we use information gathered from the network of local weather stations and managed by the Met Office.
