Amateur Courses Rates
The BTO is a registered charity and runs all of these courses for the benefit of its members and volunteers to help them undertake BTO survey work with more confidence and skill. As such, we offer the courses to them at highly subsidised rates.
All 1-day workshops: £45, to include teaching, materials and tea and coffee.
All 2 ½-day residential courses: £170, to include teaching, materials, refreshments and full board and lodgings from evening of Day 1 to lunch on Day 3. A non-resident price is also available for all residential courses, please ask for more details.
If you are under 41 years of age and not a professional ornithologist/ecologist, you may qualify for a further discount for residential courses, please ask for more details.
