Ecosystems: from territories to landscapes

The BTO is at the forefront of land-use issues in ornithology and we have unique expertise in studying bird ecology in farmland, woodland, upland and urban habitats at multiple spatial scales. We:

  • Combine national-scale monitoring, specific habitat-scale surveys and intenvise research at the territory scale to answer applied questions;
