Ringing Courses for beginners - 2008

These courses are organised by the Field Studies Council and BTO based at Flatford Mill in Suffolk and Slapton Ley in Devon and cater for newcomers who want their first experience of bird ringing. The courses provide one to one tuition on safely handling and ringing birds and also a variety of catching techniques.

You will be guided through the whole ringing process by experienced ringers from BTO and FSC, and this is a great way to get into ringing. You don't need any previous experience for these courses, so come along and find out more.
